The Pikler Playground offers the same beautiful craftsmanship and safety standards as our outdoor range, with the versatility to be enjoyed indoors or outside during play. Lightweight, foldable and adjustable in height, it is the perfect all-season play essential – simply store it under cover when not in use to keep the timber looking its best.

Our original Pikler Playground is a beautiful all-in-one climbing frame designed to support gross motor development, confidence and independent play from 1 to 6+ years. Handcrafted in Cape Town from a combination of solid pine and pine ply, it is lightweight, durable and perfect for indoor playrooms, living spaces and covered outdoor areas.

Children can climb, slide, balance, perch on the mini lookout platform and explore at their own pace. This versatile design encourages strength, coordination and imaginative play in a safe, open-ended way.

Versatile Play All Year Round

Give your little ones the freedom to climb, slide and explore throughout every season.
Simply unscrew the wooden adjustable knobs, fold the sides closed and move the playground into the playroom, lounge or covered patio so play can continue come rain or shine.

What is Included

Your Pikler Playground comes fully assembled and ready for play, including:

• Small platform

• Wooden adjustable knobs

• Classic Reversible Ramp and Slide in the colourway of your choice

The Reversible Ramp and Slide allows you to easily adjust the incline. Hook the lip over the dowel of your choosing:
Lower dowel = gentle incline.
Higher dowel = a more challenging climb or slide.

Adjustable Heights

The Pikler Playground offers two height settings so you can adapt the level of challenge as your little one grows.

Setting 1: Lower Height (approx. 1.4 m floor to apex)

• Open and secure using the side arms.

• The Reversible Ramp and Slide becomes the platform between the two sides.

• The small platform becomes a mini slide.

Setting 2: Full Height (approx. 1.7 m floor to apex)

• Perfect for little ones ready for a bigger adventure.

• The small platform sits between the two sides.

• The Reversible Ramp and Slide becomes the main slide.

Both levels support independence, balance, strength and playful exploration.

Indoor and Outdoor Play (Important Note)

All our Piklers are designed for indoor play and supervised outdoor play, but:

This Pikler Playground is not designed to live outdoors.
Please store it under cover or indoors when not in use.

Because it is made from pine and pine ply, extended exposure to rain, moisture and sun will reduce the lifespan of the timber.

These outdoor versions are made from specially treated timber and sealed for year-round weather.

Storage

Designed with family homes in mind:

• Folds closed to around 10 cm deep x 1.8 m tall

• Platform, ramp and arms stack neatly together

• Easy to store in a garage, playroom or under an awning

Despite its impressive height, it stores beautifully compact.
