A special Christmas story

This Christmas film was created back in 2019, in the very early days of Grandpa’s Workshop.
We wanted to capture something truly special - the quiet magic of Christmas and the love poured into every handmade piece that leaves our workshop.
Every order has always been more than a product to us; it’s a privilege, an act of love from our family to yours. ...

The stars of this little film are Grandpa Pete and his tiny elf, Levi, my nephew and the inspiration behind it all.
And of course Wally, our workshop sausage dog, happy as ever sniffing through wood shavings or curled up under the workbench.

We could never have imagined then that six years later we’d be sharing this again without Grandpa Pete beside us, but with his spirit in every frame.
This film now holds an even bigger place in our hearts.

Thank you for supporting us, for believing in handcrafted toys, in family-led stories, and in making childhood magical.
We’re only here because of you - and because of Grandpa Pete, who taught us that the real magic of this work is helping parents create moments their children will remember forever.

Here’s to slowing down, making space for wonder, and raising happy kids one handcrafted piece at a time.

Taking the stress out of Chirstmas

Here are some important dates to help you plan for a stress(less) Christmas. To help you plan ahead, we’ve laid out all the essential dates for our workshop production, delivery timelines, and festive season closure. Order early, relax sooner, and give the gift of handcrafted joy this Christmas.

Important Dates this Christmas

MONDAY 17TH NOVEMBER - This is final date to order XL Furniture (eg. Cube Units, Playhouse Shelf Unit). This is also the last date to place your custom orders to ensure delivery before Christmas. Any orders placed after this date will go into production in the new year.

MONDAY 24TH NOVEMBER - Place your order for your Advent Calendar and receive it on or before Friday, 28th November, to have it filled and ready to open the first gift bag on the 1st December.

MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER - All our products are handmade and made to order, please make sure your Christmas orders are placed by Monday 1st December so our workshop of elves and toymakers can work their magic and have it shipped out to you in time to wrap and hide under the tree this Christmas.

The Grandpa's Workshop Team will be taking a break to spend time with their families over Christmas and New Year from Wednesday 24th December - Monday 5th January 2026.
